Cooling Centers are places where people can go to cool down during hot weather. They can include air-conditioned buildings like libraries, community and senior centers, schools, and malls. They can also include spray parks, community pools, shaded parks, or beaches. Find a cooling center close (you can search by county) to you at the link below.
What if the Cooling Center by you isn’t open? Always call before you go – the cooling centers may be closed at certain times.
Libraries, supermarkets and malls can also be great places to get cool.
