Local Support Groups for caregivers and those with physical or vision difficulty
Get or share resources, share experiences among peers. Also you may like to Schedule a 1-to-1 meeting with Bedford’s Senior Advocate after the group to get guidance re: financial support, aides, transportation and much more.
All Caregivers Group:
Meeting on the first Thursday of each month (2:30-4 pm), this group is for all taking part in the care of a beloved family member, friend or neighbor; paid caregivers are also welcome.
Significant others involved in Caregiving:
Group will meet every 3rd Thursday (at 10:30-noon) of the month.
Support for those with movement and vision difficulty. The facilitator is an experienced peer & MSW. Both a face to face & virtual group are starting. For information, please call 914-301-5051. Meetings are begun.
Face to Face Meetings are being held at the Bedford Hills Train Station Building 46 Depot Plaza Bedford Hills.
Social Distancing and Masks Urged. Ask about transportation options.
There is no fee. Non-Bedford Residents, suggested donation is $5.
