Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the message is Break the Silence. Westchester recently sent out a newsletter that includes a list of support services that are available to anyone who may need help. If you are concerned for your safety, your children’s of a friend call the County’s Office for Women (OFW) at 614-995-5972 or in an emergency call 911.

Victims Assistance Services of WestCOP helps low income and at-risk populations to achieve greater self sufficiency. Victims Assistance offers assistance to victims of all crimes and provides free, compassionate services. Click here for WestCOP Victims Assistance program.
