NYS State Parks and Historic Sites is celebrating 100 years in 2024. The state offers a number of programs that provide free vehicle access to most state parks and recreation facilities. Golden Park Program allows New York State residents 62 or older free vehicle entry to state parks on non-holiday weekends.The Access Pass permits state residents who have a disability free or discounted use of state parks, historic sites and recreational facilities. The Lifetime Liberty Pass permits residents of NY state who are veterans or Gold Star Parents, Spouses or Siblings free or discounted use.
