Sign up here to serve as a volunteer driver and experience the joys of helping your neighbors in need. To serve as a TRA volunteer, you need to have a valid driver’s license, NYS auto registration card, NYS minimum auto insurance, be aged 21+, own a dependable vehicle, and be fully COVID-19 vaccinated with boosters.

If applying to become a volunteer driver, you agree to provide copies of the following: a valid driver's license, auto insurance declarations page(s), and auto registration card. You agree to mail or deliver copies of these documents to TRA, so that they can be filed with this application. You agree to immediately notify your volunteer supervisor if your driver's license is restricted, suspended, revoked, or expired. You will provide updated copies each year. (Required) *

Volunteer Driver positions require a criminal history background check and a motor vehicle background check. After receiving information about your consumer reporting rights, you, as the Applicant, will receive an email invitation from TRA with a link to www.Intellicorp.net where you will be able to submit personal information (Social Security Number, driver's license number, address) directly and where you will be able to authorize Intellicorp to run the background checks at TRA's expense. You agree to respond to the Intellicorp invitation to run your background checks. (Required) *
