TRA Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Henry L. Greenidge, Esq. to its Board of Directors. A nationally recognized expert in public transportation policy, Mr. Greenidge brings a wealth of experience in policy advising, regulatory affairs, and legal advocacy. He will serve a three-year term on the Board.
Mr. Greenidge is a leading expert in emerging mobility and transportation technology, dedicated to transforming the transportation industry and challenging the status quo. As Head of Public Policy at Cruise, a General Motors majority-owned company specializing in autonomous transportation, he develops innovative solutions for electric vehicles, e-mobility, and broadband infrastructure. His work focuses on improving access and addressing inequities in urban mobility—goals that closely align with TRA’s mission.

Mr. Greenidge’s distinguished career spans both public and private sectors. Before joining Cruise, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Transportation at Tusk Holdings, advising disruptive tech startups and managing multi-state public affairs campaigns. He has also held influential government positions with the NYC Mayor’s Office, the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the White House Office of Management and Budget.
Mr. Greenidge has received numerous accolades, including recognition as an Emerging Leader in Transportation by New York University, a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by City & State Magazine, and a Trailblazer by the New York Urban League. He was also named a Technology Catalyst by the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP). Additionally, he served as a Fellow-in-Residence at NYU McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research, where he lectured on the intersection of race, poverty, and transportation. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications.
