Walking and hiking by the Hudson River, with scenic views and surroundings is offered at the many parks in the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area. Scenic Hudson’s Parks begin in Yonkers at Esplanade Park’s small walkway, with a view of the Palisades. They end approximately 125 miles north in the 76 acre Long View Park, in New Baltimore. The parks are located on both the east and west banks of the Hudson, with some further inland. The 45+ parks are free and open from sunrise to sunset.
