The annual spring migration of birds will peak in the northeast in two weeks. If you get out early in the morning to walk, run, or start the day, you have probably noticed the increase in bird song.
You can soon enjoy the annual spring bird migration peaking in our area May 15-21. Migration happens mostly at night and it’s recommended to turn off nonessential lighting from 11pm to 6am or drawing curtains to keep light inside.
Radar data has been used to create a migration map of the states.
