Workplace Leave for Family Caregivers

The U.S. Department of Labor is marking the 30th anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act, landmark legislation that has helped millions of working families balance the demands of the workplace, the needs of their families, and their own health.

Throughout this anniversary year, the Wage and Hour Division will engage stakeholders in a series of conversations on barriers to workplace leave.

For the first conversation in this series, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division is collaborating with the Women’s Bureau, the Office of Disability Employment Policy, and Veterans’ Employment and Training Service for a conversation with stakeholders around barriers to workplace leave for family caregivers. This will be a virtual event.
