Before You Apply

 
WE’RE DRIVING INDEPENDENCE
 
When you’re not able to drive, getting to medical appointments can be challenging.
 
TRA’s volunteer driver program offers an option.
 
To qualify for rides with TRA, you must be age 60 plus or age 21 plus, with low vision or blindness, not able to drive yourself, and need to travel to medical appointments.
 
Apply to become a registered rider to access transportation options to see your doctor, dentist, physical therapist, or other healthcare providers in Westchester County.
 
Please note, TRA is unable to accommodate riders who use wheelchairs without a caregiver to assist. TRA cannot transport minors.

Please complete the Register to Ride Application form below or call us at 914-764-3533 and TRA staff will help with the application and answer your questions.

Once we receive your application we will mail you TRA’s waiver of liability. Sign the waiver and mail to TRA.
When we receive your waiver of liability, with your original signature,  we will process your application.
