TRA Resources for Older Drivers
Resources for older drivers include tips and resources, information on senior transportation and community based support for older adults.
When you’re not able to drive, finding a way to get to healthcare appointments can be challenging. Friends and family may be
willing to help but are not always available. Public transportation can be difficult to navigate and cab fares add up quickly.
TRA is here to help you. Powered by a network of volunteer drivers, TRA provides services in Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York and SW Fairfield County, Connecticut.
TRA’s transportation services provide a free, safe, and reliable way to get you there.
It’s Easy to get started!
When TRA volunteers are not available, we will help you coordinate a ride with another provider. We recommend that you register ahead of time with all ride services for which you are eligible, including Paratransit, RideConnect of Family Services of
Westchester, and local ride providers. Learn more in the TRA Resources Hub.
