New York State is rich in America’s history and is celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. Our state contains many of the battlegrounds of the American Revolution. Historic sites, museums, battlefields, and attractions across the state are highlighting the revolutionary actions of New Yorkers.

The largest fleet of the world’s tall ships and grey hull ships will sail up the Hudson River to the George Washington bridge on July 4th. Historic sites throughout the state will be participating throughout the year.
