TRA’s medical transportation program continues to grow at an extraordinary pace. In just the first half of 2026, our team and volunteer drivers provided 5,877 medical trips. We nearly matched the total number of rides delivered in all of 2025. Every zone across Westchester, Putnam, and southwest Fairfield Counties saw significant increases in ridership. This reflects both rising community need and the expanded capacity made possible through your support.
Volunteer drivers, TRA-owned vehicles, and our new Shopping Mini-Bus routes are together reaching more older adults than ever before- especially in communities with limited transportation options.
