As a five year volunteer driver, Steve Ocskasy has provided 377 medical rides to older adults and/or adults with low vision. TRA staff, volunteers and riders will miss him. And Steve’s not done with being a volunteer driver – he’s found a new opportunity in his new location!
Getting ready to move to a new state, Steve commented “I enjoyed my time with Westfair Rides/TRA. I made a lot of friends from TRA and the clients we serve. Will always remember the great times. I will keep in touch with TRA and a few of my favorite clients. That means, after I close on my condo.
I wish TRA continued success for years to come. I found out I can (as I understand right now) do the same thing out in my new location that I have been doing here with driving. But will be specifically for the American Cancer Society. In a way, paying back for what they (nationwide) have done for me.
